Summer Getaways

Our annual family vacation to Lake Leelanau was successful! Which means no one was seriously injured, lost, and woke up happy to be on vacation still each day! The kids had a great time being outdoors all day, everyday...even Landon seemed to adjust to the idea of "liking" being outside. He did really well and, yes, we got a lot of looks from people thinking we are crazy for camping with a 3 month old! Good thing we don't let what other people think of us or what we do or how we "do" things bother us or we would never go anywhere, let alone with our kids! It is always great to come home and we were ready to sleep in our own beds. Tomorrow we are going to Chicago with Jess' parents until Friday night. Jess, Jonah and Grandpa are going to the Cubs vs. Phillies game and the girls are going shopping and taking Lauren to the American Girl store. Then on Friday we are going to the Brookfield Zoo. Should be lots of fun!! We'll post pictures of our summer after we get done with all this traveling!
