What's the Latest?!!???

Happy 4th of July!
Sparkler...well, sorta!
Baby Girl!
Jonah and Tay Tay

Ok, so this week we had our dr. appt. with the asthma & allergy doctor to have Jonah allergy tested, again. And the results: no allergies. Ok, so that is actually good. At least there is not another drug to add to his bedtime regime! So she wants him to definitely have the sinus surgery on August 21st and she wants to have his blood drawn to test his immune system. Basically they want to see if he is producing enough anitbodies to help fight infections. So that is where we are now. It's exhausting. It's frustrating. It seems endless. We know that someone, somewhere will be able to help us figure out what is going on with him and why he is always sick!! Better yet, we serve a God who can heal him completely and take away all his symptoms, all his illnesses, and clear him up completely!!! Amen?!! Amen. So let's continue to pray for that! The nice part about seeing yet another specialist, is that today we saw a dr. who didn't look at us like, "I don't know what you are talking about?" and "I don't see what you mean..." She looked at us like a caring human being who completely understands that we are frustrated and tired. She talked with us like what we are telling her is valid and true. She was kind and caring and was absolutely wonderful with Jonah. So thank you God for excellent dr.'s!
Here are some pics from July 4th...we had a nice day. We went to a parade with the Simpson's and Seeley's in Schoolcraft....very BORING parade, but the company was fun and we had a cookout at Mimi and Papa's with Josh and Kristin. We went swimming and enjoyed relaxing and laughing together. We also had the worst sparklers out there! They were more like sticks that burned...nothing at all exciting. Oh, well. Later, Jonah and Jess went down the road to sit in the corn field to watch the fireworks. I sat in our driveway (Lauren was sleeping ) and got a pretty ok show too!
Check my mom's blog out for recent pics of Jonah's newest swimming trick! He learned to swim with his face in the water and move his arms and legs! He is very proud of himself! We had a play date with my cousin, Jessica, her daughter Taylor (aka Tay Tay) and and her step-daughter, Corrine, and little baby, Cale...who is adorable. Anyway, it was a really good time and Jonah and Tay Tay always have so much fun together. They are definitely related and have many traits that are very similar...it's really funny to see a girl version of Jonah! So that's the latest this week from around here...Jess' softball team came in 2nd place this year...he is very disappointed and bummed. So...next year, that's what I tell him anyway! It doesn't take the sting out of the loss though, poor guys. I'm sure that within a week or so (or longer...please God, no!) they will be able to move on! :)

I am so glad you found a good doctor who can hopefully help figure out Mr. Jonah! We will continue to pray for all that entails and of course for complete healing!
