Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all our family and friends! We have had a busy holiday season and are looking forward to 2007! Christmas was really fun this year, Jonah loved opening presents and he understood the Real meaning of Christmas this year, it was really neat to listen to him talk about it being Jesus' birthday and about the Christmas story. He wasn't really into Santa, but we still had fun with the idea and with pretending and he enjoyed pretending too. He can't get enough of riding around on his new John Deere tractor and cruising around in his Lightning McQueen! Lauren loved her 1st Christmas and opening or should I say, eating the paper from her Christmas presents! She had a blast crawling in and around all the paper and trying to get some into her little mouth! For Christmas, Lauren got her 2 front teeth! So we have had fun singing the song to her and laughing at how true it is for her! It's really cute to see her smile and show them off!
Please keep my mom and our extended family in your prayers. My Aunt Suzie has a very rare form of lung cancer and the tumor is growing very aggressively. She has decided to stop all treatments (she has been enduring months on end of chemo and other drugs to stop the tumor from growing...they didn't work). She is a Christian, but both her daughters and their families are not and they are pretty angry with God right now for this. Her doctors have said her time left is precious. So please keep our family in your prayers....this will be the 5th immediate family member (her parents, her little brother and another sister) my mom has lost in the last 5 years.
