Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! We are all anticipating a February full of good things ONLY! We started the month by shaving Jesse and Jonah's heads on behalf of our friend, Josh Buck, who was involved in a serious accident which has left him paralyzed. Please pray for our friends, Josh and Shelly and their two kiddos, Noah and Zoe during this difficult time. Please check out their website, www.greenhouseministries.org to learn more about their story and for ways you can help. We are fervently praying for a miracle and believe that we serve a God of miracles. Miracles happen, and we are praying for one for Josh! Please pray with us!
Jonah and I decorated our house for Valentine's Day by cutting out heart shapes and making a valentine paper chain. He had fun cutting with his scissors and taping the hearts to the sliding door. We also wrote out valentine cards for his friends this week and he enjoyed picking out which valentine card to give to each friend in his class at school and church. He, of course, picked out Cars valentines...big surprise! We are using the paper chain we made to help us count down to our trip to Disney! Jonah wakes up every day asking if today is the day! He is very excited! We fly down on March 2nd and are staying at the Disney All Star Sports Hotel. My parents are also going down and will be staying at Fort Wilderness, Disney's campground. Jennifer and her boyfriend, Ryan are also coming along and so is Jonathan...it should be a fun, fun time! We are all looking forward to it!
Please keep Jonah in your prayers this week, he is having a CT scan on Friday to determine if he has sinusitus....they are not sedating him for this and are hoping he does fine without being sedated...we'll see...if it isn't a successful try, we will have to go back the following week for sedation (which will either be an IV or a big shot in his leg). So pray he can sit still and not freak out and we can get it done in one visit!
