Phillies Game and Great Wolf Lodge

Jonah & Grandpa (Jonah insisted on wearing all red...go Phillies!)

This past weekend Jess and Grandpa took Jonah to his first MLB game in Chicago. They went to see the Phillies vs. the Cubs and had a great time. Jonah got a hold of the camera a few times and took some of these pictures...not too bad actually! Then on Saturday we went up to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City with my parents and Jonathan. The water park was a lot of fun and I think my kids could live at a hotel. They love going to hotels and everytime we go, cannot stop talking about the hotel! All in all it was a great weekend leading up to an exciting week of school starting for Jonah. Today is his "orientation" day where he meets his teacher, sees his classroom, and gets to take a bus ride. He is excited and ready to go....Jess and I on the other hand feel a bit sad about this day coming, but we are determined to be just as excited as Jonah and to wave to him happily...while holding back tears...as the bus pulls away with our little boy tomorrow. Pray for Jonah and all the kids going back to school this week. May their little lights shine for Jesus wherever they are!
